Responsibilities:
1.Pre-checking cargo status (per clients' requirement) with the shipper and/or consignee.
2.Introducing UPS and our services, explaining the requirements for exporting / importing, and sometimes answering shipper's questions regarding the IncoTerms, the customs clearance, local charges, ocean freight & etc.
3.Validate booking information.
4.Make sure proper buy and sell rates are in QA system, TLI numbers are available and arranging proper sailing schedules according to the cargo ready date, carrier's sailing options & customer's requirements.
5.Communicating with destination offices via telephone and/or email.
6.Contact ocean carriers & truckers to get vessel & trucking spaces, arranging door pick-up and also assisting on customs clearance in case customs inspection & late-come is required.
7.Initiate shipment data in E2K system and audit milestone & etc.
Requirements:
1.College level or above;
2.CET IV or similar level, be good at reading & writing. Fluent Cantonese a plus;
3.Patient and responsible, willing to learn and bear work pressure;
4.Good at Microsoft Office tools. Typing speed +40wpm;
5.Good communication skill & customer service attitude;
6.Familiar with Int'l trade & ocean freight process and requirements;
7.At least 2 years of experience out of which 1 year in ocean industry.
